This is not the whole CD but just 1 track from the 15 band/song sampler from the Guild Navigators fairly choice electronic rock instrumental total guitar jam out. 16 bit WAV file taken directly from the Classic Rock Magazine (Prog Rock Magazine's sister mag, from Future Publishing- UK) CD sampler called 'SPACE ROCK' that was included in the issue (#139)
15 band 15 song sampler CD accompanying their Tribute to Pink Floyd's 30th year anniversary of the making of the movie The Wall (which ironically is one of my least favorite PF albums) but the magazine cover is something else, quite special, with the unique rare high tech 7 layer imbedded holographic, psychedelic imagery of popular Pink Floyd album symbolism crammed into an magazine cover but still retaining spaciousness in that have heavy collage. Guild Navigators music of course is on the accompanying CD sampler that sits attached glued at the back of the mag. Somebody from Classic Rock (probably an intern to one of the editors?) got the title a bit off, as they changed a few crucial characters critical to the epic fantasy back into deep history of Asian empires rise and fall, to maybe a cute quaint English girl named Amanda, messing around with some strange culty magical sort of stuff ;) Nuthin' against any those things necessarily...but Whaaaaat? lol. Well, what ever the case may be for a 15 Band/Song CD comp of NEWER mild to heavy sci-fi themed, sorta spacey here and there (our track being maybe one of the more typical spacer's in the #Hawkwind tradition certainly and alot of grungy acid stoner rock bands (more like "HEAD space" bands, (very psychological heavy stuff happening in alot of those lyrics, so buy the whole CD on Discogs and get some psych analytical therapy to boot!), you're not going to find a better one on the planet I don't think. The whole CD gives all of the Seattle Grunge scene a stern run for it's money? hmmm? Maybe? Well, I being goofy, glossy, full of shit and a bit pedantic here. Nonetheless it's a worthy modern Acid fried hard stoner rock of A fairly ok variety, I could have done better picking actual "Space Rock" bands but the CD is pretty good if you give it about 3 or 4 listens over time. It def grows on you and some of the songs you can't get out of your head. ... more

about

Instrumental track recorded by the Guild Navigators which at the time of this project, we had a broad number of available crew members, however most of the recording and gigging was as an electronic synth rock trio. This track however was specifically written and recorded while as a working duo, 2 experimental fusion/hybridized alien space rock studio producers. This being: "The Commander" Christopher Guilty Guilder Sexy Lady Navel Mead drinker and by coessentiality only - chic chaser & desk top PC pooter pirate and highway pirate computer free booter and Charles 'BIG CHUCK' Yeager_Meister_Norris_Van Wrangler der tribe of space brothers with tomahawk synth missiles KREE on his mobile recording studio as Chief Indian and expert squaw baller.
